Description
The Yellowstripe Scad, often referred to as Temperate Scad in some contexts, is a schooling marine fish characterized by a prominent yellow stripe along its lateral line and a yellow caudal fin. These active swimmers are found in coastal waters across the Indo-Pacific, primarily feeding on zooplankton and small invertebrates. They are rarely kept in home aquariums due to their size and schooling needs.
