Description
The Longnose Sucker is a large, elongated freshwater fish characterized by its distinctive long snout and subterminal mouth adapted for bottom feeding. During breeding season, males often display a prominent red stripe along their flanks, as seen in the image. They are native to cool, clear waters across northern North America and Siberia.
