Description
The Stone Loach is a peaceful, bottom-dwelling freshwater fish native to clear, oxygen-rich streams and rivers across Europe and parts of Asia. It features a mottled brown body, an elongated shape, and distinctive barbels around its mouth for sifting through substrate. These hardy fish are excellent scavengers, feeding on small invertebrates and detritus.
