The Yellowband Wrasse, or Coris gaimard, is a large and active saltwater fish known for its vibrant coloration, which changes dramatically from juvenile to adult. Adults display a striking red body with a broad orange-yellow band and blue fins. They are sand-sifting carnivores that require a spacious aquarium with a deep sand bed.
