Description
The Proud Dragonet is a small, cryptic saltwater fish characterized by its mottled brown, black, and white coloration, providing excellent camouflage on sandy and rubble substrates. Males often exhibit a prominent, elongated first dorsal fin ray used in courtship displays. These micro-predators constantly forage for copepods and other tiny invertebrates.
