Description
The African Longfin Eel is a large, predatory freshwater eel known for its elongated body and mottled coloration. These eels are catadromous, spending most of their lives in freshwater rivers and estuaries before migrating to the ocean to spawn. They require very large aquariums with secure lids due to their escape artist tendencies and significant adult size.
