Description
The Peacock Eel is an elongated, nocturnal fish known for its distinctive pattern of ocelli (eye-spots) along its dorsal fin. It is a burrowing species that enjoys soft substrate and plenty of hiding places. While generally peaceful with appropriately sized tankmates, it is a predator and will consume very small fish.
