Description
The Atlantic Mackerel is a fast-swimming, schooling pelagic fish characterized by its streamlined body and distinctive wavy patterns on its back. Found in the temperate waters of the North Atlantic, they are active predators feeding on smaller fish and invertebrates. Due to their large size, schooling behavior, and need for vast open water, they are not suitable for home aquariums and are typically only seen in very large public aquariums.
