Description
The Juan Fernandez-sandabborre is a large, elongated marine fish native to the southeastern Pacific, particularly around Chile and the Juan Fernández Islands. It exhibits a mottled brown and white pattern for camouflage on sandy bottoms, where it actively hunts small invertebrates and fish. This species requires a very large, cool-water marine aquarium.
