Description
The Eyespot Betta (*Betta ocellata*) is a wild mouthbrooding Betta species known for the prominent dark spot (ocellus) at the base of its caudal fin. Native to the blackwater habitats of Borneo, it displays subtle iridescence, particularly on the operculum and fins. These Bettas are generally more peaceful than *Betta splendens* but still require specific care and tank conditions.
