Description

The Combtail Gourami is a medium-sized labyrinth fish native to Sri Lanka and parts of Southeast Asia, known for its distinctive comb-like caudal fin in males. While generally peaceful, males can be territorial and aggressive towards conspecifics or similar-looking fish. They are omnivores and thrive in well-planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots.
