Description
The European Bullhead is a bottom-dwelling, coldwater fish characterized by its large head, broad mouth, and mottled brown coloration, providing excellent camouflage. It is a predatory species, feeding on small invertebrates and fish, and requires highly oxygenated, clean water with plenty of hiding spots. While generally peaceful towards fish too large to be eaten, it can be territorial and predatory towards smaller tankmates.
