Description
The Raja Betta (*Betta raja*) is a wild Betta species native to Sumatra, Indonesia, typically found in soft, acidic blackwater environments. Unlike the domesticated *Betta splendens*, it exhibits more subdued coloration, often with iridescent green or blue highlights on its gill plates. Males can be territorial, especially towards other males, but are generally less aggressive than their domestic counterparts, making them suitable for species-specific tanks or carefully chosen community setups.
