Description
The False Firemouth Cichlid is a beautiful Central American cichlid known for its iridescent blue spots covering its body and fins, and striking blue eyes. While it can display some red coloration on its throat, it is less prominent than in the true Firemouth Cichlid. This species is generally semi-aggressive, especially when breeding, and requires a spacious aquarium with plenty of hiding spots.
