Description
The Zebra-perch Sea Chub, Kyphosus bigibbus, is a large, schooling marine fish found throughout the Indo-Pacific. It is characterized by its oval, compressed body and distinct dark vertical bands over a lighter grey or brown background. These active omnivores are primarily herbivorous, grazing on algae and small invertebrates, and require very large aquariums due to their adult size and schooling nature.
