Description

The Threespot Grouper is a large, predatory marine fish known for its distinctive reddish-brown body covered in small blue spots and typically three to six prominent dark blotches along its back. Native to the Indo-Pacific, this species requires a very large aquarium with ample hiding spots. It is a voracious carnivore that will consume any fish or invertebrate small enough to fit in its mouth.
