Description
The Yellow Boxfish is a distinctive marine fish known for its cube-shaped body and bright yellow coloration covered in black-ringed white spots, which become smaller and more numerous with age. It is a peaceful species but can release a potent toxin (ostracitoxin) when stressed, making careful tankmate selection crucial. They are slow swimmers and require a well-established, spacious aquarium with plenty of hiding spots.
