Description
The Sterlet is a relatively small species of sturgeon, characterized by its elongated body, bony scutes, and distinctive barbels near its mouth. It is a bottom-dwelling carnivore, feeding on small invertebrates found in riverbeds. Despite being smaller than other sturgeons, it still requires a very large, specialized environment, typically a pond, due to its adult size and active nature.
