Description
The Eastern Jumping Blenny is a unique semi-terrestrial fish that inhabits the intertidal zones, spending significant time out of water on exposed rocks. Known for its ability to 'skip' or 'jump' across surfaces using its fins, it requires a specialized aquarium setup with ample land access. This species is primarily herbivorous, grazing on algae, but will also consume small invertebrates.
