Description
The Spring Cavefish (*Typhlichthys subterraneus*) is a small, pale, and partially sighted fish native to subterranean waters of the southeastern U.S. It possesses reduced eyes and a highly developed lateral line system to navigate in darkness. This species is adapted to stable, cool cave environments, feeding on small invertebrates and detritus.
