Description

The Round Herring is a schooling pelagic fish with a slender, silvery body, found in temperate and subtropical waters of the Indo-Pacific. It feeds primarily on zooplankton. Due to its large size, schooling requirements, and need for vast open spaces, it is not suitable for typical home aquariums and is rarely seen in captivity outside of very large public aquariums.
