Description
The Smooth Flounder is a flatfish native to the cold coastal waters of the North Atlantic. It is an ambush predator, camouflaging itself on sandy or muddy bottoms to feed on benthic invertebrates and small fish. This species requires a large, cold-water marine aquarium with a soft substrate for burrowing.
