Description
Smalltooth Bristlemouths are small, deep-sea fish belonging to the family Gonostomatidae, and are among the most abundant vertebrates on Earth. They inhabit the mesopelagic and bathypelagic zones of oceans worldwide, feeding primarily on zooplankton. These fish are not suitable for home aquariums due to their extreme deep-sea habitat requirements, making them impossible to keep.
