Description
The Sandy Ridgefin Eel, also known as the Spotted Snake Eel, is a nocturnal predator characterized by its elongated, snake-like body and distinctive spotted pattern. It spends much of its time burrowed in deep sandy substrates, emerging to hunt for small fish and invertebrates. This species requires a large, mature saltwater aquarium with ample sand for burrowing.
