Description
The Slender Weed Whiting is a highly elongated, cryptic fish native to the temperate waters of Southern Australia. It possesses excellent camouflage, blending seamlessly with seagrass beds where it hunts small invertebrates. A distinctive black ocellus (eyespot) is present on its caudal fin.
