Description

The Flame Snapper (*Etelis coruscans*) is a large, deep-water marine fish known for its striking ruby-red coloration and deeply forked caudal fin. This predatory species is found in the Indo-Pacific, inhabiting rocky bottoms and reefs at considerable depths. Due to its immense size and specialized needs, it is rarely, if ever, kept in home aquariums and is primarily seen in large public aquariums.
