Description
The Simor Betta (*Betta simorum*) is a wild Betta species native to Sumatra, Indonesia, known for its iridescent scales and often a greenish-blue operculum. It thrives in soft, acidic blackwater environments and is a mouthbrooding species. While generally semi-aggressive, especially males, they can be kept in species-specific tanks or with appropriate tankmates in larger, well-planted aquariums.
