Description
The Silver Knifefish, also known as the Glass Knifefish, is a unique, elongated freshwater fish known for its transparent body and ability to generate a weak electric field for navigation and communication. It is a nocturnal species that prefers dimly lit aquariums with plenty of hiding spots and is generally peaceful towards tankmates too large to be considered prey.
