Description
The Silver Jenny, also known as Mojarra, is a silvery, laterally compressed fish found in the shallow coastal waters and estuaries of the Western Atlantic. It is characterized by its protrusible mouth, which it uses to sift through sandy substrates for small invertebrates. While not a common aquarium species, it can be kept in large, well-filtered saltwater or brackish tanks.
