Description
The San Pedro Martir Trout is a rare subspecies of Rainbow Trout endemic to the high-altitude streams of the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir in Baja California, Mexico. It typically displays a greenish-brown back, silvery sides with a prominent reddish-pink lateral band, and numerous dark spots. This species requires pristine, cold, and highly oxygenated water conditions, making it unsuitable for most home aquariums.
