Description
The Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid is a popular and colorful freshwater fish, with males displaying vibrant fins and a distinctive spiky dorsal fin. They are territorial, especially during breeding, but generally peaceful with appropriate tankmates. Native to the Amazon basin, they thrive in well-planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots.
