Description

Tinfoil Barbs are large, active, schooling fish known for their silvery, 'tin-plated' scales and distinctive red fins. They are primarily herbivorous, consuming aquatic plants and algae, but also eat insects, making them omnivores. Due to their significant adult size and schooling nature, they require very large aquariums and are considered an advanced care level species.
