The Magdalena Stream Pleco is a large, armored catfish native to the Magdalena River basin in Colombia. It exhibits a mottled brown and tan pattern with a distinctive high dorsal fin. Primarily an algae eater, it requires a spacious aquarium with good filtration and plenty of hiding spots.
