Description
The Coastrange Sculpin is a bottom-dwelling, predatory freshwater fish native to the Pacific drainages of North America. It is characterized by its mottled brown coloration, large pectoral fins, and spiny dorsal fins, providing excellent camouflage in rocky stream environments. This species requires cool, highly oxygenated water and a diet of live or frozen invertebrates.
