Description
The Leopard Frogfish is a master of camouflage, often found blending seamlessly with its coral or rocky surroundings. This ambush predator uses a modified dorsal fin spine, called an illicium, to lure unsuspecting prey within striking distance. Its distinctive yellow coloration with black spots makes it a striking, albeit cryptic, inhabitant of tropical reefs.
