Description
The Japanese Pygmy Seahorse is an incredibly tiny and highly camouflaged species, rarely exceeding 0.6 inches in length. It is typically found clinging to specific gorgonian corals in its natural habitat. Due to its specialized diet of live, microscopic prey and extreme sensitivity to water parameters and flow, it is considered an expert-level aquarium species.
