Description
The Hottentot Seabream is a large, silvery marine fish endemic to the cool waters off South Africa and Namibia. It is an omnivorous species, feeding on a variety of algae and small invertebrates. While primarily a food fish, it would require an extremely large, specialized cold-water marine aquarium if kept by advanced aquarists.
