Description
Hemichromis angolensis is a West African cichlid characterized by its brownish-gold body adorned with several dark vertical bars. While generally less aggressive than its 'Jewel Cichlid' relatives, it can become territorial, especially during breeding. This species thrives in well-planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots.
