Description
The Emerald Weedfish is a temperate marine fish recognized by its vibrant green, elongated body, which provides excellent camouflage among seagrass and algae. This bottom-dwelling species is an ambush predator, often found resting on the substrate awaiting small crustaceans and invertebrates. While generally peaceful, it can be territorial with conspecifics.
