Description
The Doctorfish is a popular marine aquarium fish known for its oval body and often drab coloration which can change. Like all surgeonfish, it possesses a sharp scalpel-like spine on its caudal peduncle. It is a herbivore that grazes on algae, making it beneficial for reef tanks but requiring a large tank due to its adult size.
