Description
The Banded Lizardfish is a predatory, bottom-dwelling marine fish known for its excellent camouflage, often burying itself in sandy substrates to ambush prey. It possesses an elongated body, a large mouth, and sharp teeth, making it an efficient hunter of smaller fish and crustaceans. This species requires a mature saltwater aquarium with plenty of open sand for burying.
