Description
Lebiasina elongata is a slender, torpedo-shaped characin characterized by its elongated body and often subtle, brownish-green coloration with a prominent dark lateral stripe. This species is a predatory fish, primarily feeding on small invertebrates and insects in its natural clear, flowing water habitats. While generally peaceful towards similarly sized fish, it may prey on very small tankmates or fry.
