Description
The Convict Snake Eel is a striking saltwater fish known for its distinctive black and white banded pattern, which mimics the venomous sea snake. It is a nocturnal predator that spends much of its day burrowed in deep sand, emerging at night to hunt small fish and crustaceans. This species requires a large aquarium with a substantial sand bed for burrowing.
