Description
The Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid is a popular and colorful freshwater fish known for its distinctive dorsal fin resembling a cockatoo's crest, especially in males. Females are typically less colorful but become vibrant yellow during breeding, as seen in the image with her fry. They are cave spawners and excellent parents.
