Description

The Chanchito Cichlid is a hardy and adaptable South American cichlid known for its variable coloration and semi-aggressive temperament, especially during breeding. Native to the La Plata River basin, it requires a spacious aquarium with stable water conditions and plenty of hiding spots. This species can be territorial and should be housed with robust tankmates.
