Description

The Castaneta, or Peruvian Morwong, is a large, silvery-grey marine fish found in the temperate waters of the southeastern Pacific. It inhabits rocky reefs and feeds on a varied diet of benthic invertebrates and algae. This species is known for its distinctive body shape and can grow to a considerable size, requiring a very large aquarium.
