Description
The Calvus Cichlid is a unique Tanganyikan cichlid known for its flattened body and distinctive pearl-like spots. It is a cave-dweller and a micro-predator, using its body shape to squeeze into crevices to hunt small invertebrates. While generally peaceful with larger tankmates, it can be territorial, especially during breeding.
