Description
The Black-nosed Butterflyfish is a striking yellow fish with a prominent black band across its eye and a distinctive black snout. Endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, it is a beautiful but somewhat challenging species for the home aquarium, requiring excellent water quality and a varied diet. It is not considered reef-safe as it will nip at corals.
