Description

Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is a popular freshwater fish known for its vibrant colors and elaborate fins. Males are particularly known for their aggressive territorial behavior towards other males, but can be kept in community tanks with careful selection of tankmates. They are labyrinth fish, capable of breathing atmospheric air.
