Description
The Betta Fish, also known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is a popular freshwater fish renowned for its stunning array of colors and elaborate finnage, particularly in males. Originating from Southeast Asia, these labyrinth fish can breathe atmospheric air, allowing them to survive in oxygen-poor waters. While males are highly territorial and aggressive towards other males, they can be kept in community tanks with peaceful, non-fin-nipping tankmates.
